TDP lamp therapy works by emitting far infrared light that can penetrate the skin and stimulate cell production, microcirculation, and healing. The lamp is heated to a certain temperature and emits far-infrared (FIR) energy, which has several therapeutic benefits. The FIR energy penetrates up to 3½ inches into the body, delivering higher levels of oxygen and nutrients to injured cells while eliminating toxins and cellular waste. The TDP lamp features a plate coated with a formulation of 33 minerals that emit deep-penetrating, far-infrared waves. These minerals are believed to help relax muscles, reduce stiffness, inflammation, and more.
The TDP lamp is often used as an alternative or complementary therapy to acupuncture and moxibustion. It is sometimes called a “miracle lamp” or “mineral lamp” due to its reported success and the minerals that coat the lamp head.
